Chrzest święty
jest fundamentem całego życia chrześcijańskiego, bramą życia w Duchu i bramą otwierającą dostęp innych sakramentów. Przez chrzest zostajemy wyzwoleni od grzechu i odrodzeni jako synowie Boży, stajemy się członkami Chrystusa oraz zostajemy wszczepieni w Kościół i stajemy się uczestnikami jego posłania. Chrzest jest sakramentem odrodzenia przez wodę i w słowie” (KKK 1213)
Sakrament chrztu św. Jest początkiem chrześcijańskiej drogi życia i włączeniem do wspólnoty Kościoła, zgodnie ze słowami Jezusa : jeśli się ktoś nie narodzi z wody i Ducha, nie może wejść do królestwa Bożego (J3,5).
Informacje szczegółowe związane ze chrztem:
- Rodzice zgłaszają dziecko w kancelarii parafialnej przynajmniej tydzień przed chrztem
- Dokumenty potrzebne przy chrzcie dziecka:
– akt urodzenia dziecka
– świadectwo ślubu kościelnego rodziców dziecka ( jeśli ślub odbył się w innej parafii)
– jeśli dziecko jest z innej parafii rodzice winni przynieść pisemną zgodę swego proboszcza na udzielenie sakramentu chrztu
– dane personalne rodziców chrzestnych( imię nazwisko, data urodzenia, adres ) wraz z zaświadczeniem z ich parafii, że mogą być dopuszczeni do godności rodziców chrzestnych, oraz, że przystąpili do sakramentu Pokuty.Do chrztu świętego potrzebna jest biała szata i świeca.
Rodzice chrzestni – powinni odznaczać się dojrzałością chrześcijańską, mieć ukończone 16 lat, sakrament bierzmowania.
Akt chrztu spisujemy w środę lub czwartek tygodnia bezpośrednio poprzedzającego dzień chrztu.

KATECHEZA dla rodziców i chrzestnych – obowiązkowa. (w zakrystii 20 min. przed liturgią sakramentu)
Rodzice i chrzestni powinni w czasie chrztu dziecka przystąpić do Komunii Świętej.

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: „Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.” (The Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1213)
The sacrament of Holy Baptism is the beginning of the Christian way of life and the act of joining the community of the Church. As Jesus said, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (J3:5).
Detailed information about Baptism
Parents register their child at the Parish Office at least one week before the Baptism.
The following documents are required for the Baptism
– the child’s birth certificate
– the church-marriage certificate of the child’s parents (if the marriage ceremony was held in another parish)
– if the child is from another parish the parents should bring written consent from their parish priest to baptise the child
– the personal data of the Godparents (full name, D.o.B, address) with a certificate issued by their parish(es) confirming that they can become Godparents and that they have received the Sacrament of Penance.
A white garment and candle are required for Baptism.
The Godparents should be mature Christians over 16 years of age after the sacrament of Confirmation.
The Baptism Certificate is issued on the Wednesday or Thursday of the week directly preceding the day of the Baptism.
We sign Baptism Certificates in the sacristy immediately before the liturgy of the sacrament.
Baptism ceremonies are held every Sunday during the Holy Mass at 12 noon.
RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION for parents and Godparents – obligatory (20 minutes before the liturgy of the sacrament)
The parents and Godparents should participate in Holy Communion during the Holy Mass.
